Sister Golden Hair grew from the simple joy of singing harmony-rich songs with Barbara Nesbitt and Emily Shirley.
We're three singer-songwriters with our own catalogs and careers, but there is something irresistible about coming together around the music of the '60s and '70s: songs we know in our bones, stacked harmonies, stories, and a room singing along.
What began as a collaboration has grown into an ongoing live project and full-band experience. Mostly, it is a lot of fun to make music with people you love.
