Back on the Road: Wyoming to Houston

August brought a few more miles, a few more rooms and a chance to share songs with old friends and new listeners.

I played in Wilson, Wyoming, then headed back to Texas for a song swap with Barbara Nesbitt at McGonigel's Mucky Duck in Houston.

I've been doing this long enough to know that the glamorous version of touring and the real version are rarely the same thing. The real gift is simpler: a good room, a good song and people willing to listen.
