Jake's Take: Talking BANNED, Wavemakers + the Songs That Brought Me Here

This week I joined Jacob Elyachar on The Jake's Take with Jacob Elyachar Podcast for a conversation that reached across a lot of chapters of my creative life.

We talked about Wavemakers Women + Music, the stories behind some of my most-streamed songs, and BANNED, the new project I'm building from songs inspired by banned and challenged books.

I appreciated the chance to talk about the whole arc: making nine records, touring, custom music, mentoring artists, building community and continuing to find new reasons to write.

And, of course, we talked about "Nightingale," the first song from BANNED.
