We talked about growing up in Lake Charles with music everywhere, finding my people in a teenage punk scene, stumbling into my first record deal, moving to Austin, making nine albums and eventually discovering that some of my most meaningful work happens where music meets human connection.
The conversation also gets into the story behind Lyriculture™ and how becoming a mother shifted my relationship with touring, coaching and building a creative life with deeper roots.
